When we bought this home we were impressed by the quiet ambience of the place….the exposed timber beams, the bluestone features and the general architecture combine to make living here comfortable and pleasant…. we’ll be sorry to leave but must downsize as it is too large now, for a couple of empty nesters.

Our home is set on a gently sloping corner block surrounded by an expansive lawn edged with a mix of natives, exotics, palms and deciduous trees. The area is home to many birds, including Lorikeets, Kookaburras, Wood Ducks and even a Plover couple. The elevated block offers partial views of Port Philip Bay. We enjoy magnificent sunsets from our verandah and from the kitchen window that looks west, through the treetops below.

There are 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 2 kitchens. A fully equipped and furnished Studio Apartment is included. This is available to guests through an AirBnB listing. However, new owners may decide to use the apartment in which case the AirBnB listing could be deleted. The AirBnB venture is successful and generates income of around $30k pa. with little cost.

A large, fully tiled, resort style pool is a great spot for family fun on a hot summer day. It has a diving section at one end and a gas heated spa pool on the side that flows into the main pool. Who needs the beach with this feature?

Rainwater for garden use is kept in a 50,000 litre concrete underground tank. A pressure pump connected to a 25mm flexible hose delivers water to where it is needed.
