Eddie Walsh’s home for sale
The family of the late Western Bulldogs fanatic and life-long helping hand, Eddie Walsh, are selling his Seddon home for over $500 thousand.
Walsh worked for his beloved football club for 70 years. He started as a secretary of the Footscray thirds, and later as a property steward, although largely as a respected volunteer.
The property is set on a huge 591 square metre allotment and enjoys three street frontages, making it an attractive investment for developers.
Much like the Bulldog great who called it home, it is a legend of the area and encapsulates the heart and soul of the west. Behind its classic facade, the home includes four bedrooms, one bathroom, and one car space.
”All I can see is red, white and blue in my eyes. I’ll go to my grave as a football fanatic – as a Footscray fanatic,” Walsh said.
